In the early days of this golden autumn, we came from all corners of the globe to gather in Shenzhen, a vibrant city celebrated as China’s innovation hub, to celebrate the grand event of AWC 2023!
On October 13th, AWC 2023 came to a successful and rewarding close. On behalf of the entire AWC team, I would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to you all, our exhibitors and visitors, for your constant support and unwavering trust. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the government authorities, industry associations and media for your collaboration and positive feedback that have made AWC 2023 the great event it was!
An impressive number of 35,279 professional visitors attended this year’s exhibition. The event was further enriched by the participation of 163 high-level experts speaking at 20+ forums and summits, who generously shared invaluable insights on the latest trends of intelligent cockpits, driving and connected vehicles, EIC systems in new energy vehicles, future transportation, and the low-altitude economy. Their contributions were pivotal in bringing about new thinking and inspiration to us all.
With an aim to facilitate and foster international business collaboration within the global automotive industry chain, AWC 2023 debuted its Hosted Buyer Program. Nearly 1,000 international visitors took part from 62 countries and regions, including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and India. A number of fruitful networking activities were held throughout the event, such as Vietnam Day, Thailand Day, the Malaysia Investment Seminar, and Japanese & Korean Delegation AWC Program.
Apart from experiencing AWC’s dynamic and interactive show floor of outstanding exhibitors and their products, these esteemed overseas visitors also took the opportunity to visit landmark sites, such as the Pingshan Automobile Industrial Park, the BYD company, the Shenzhen Intelligent Connected Transportation Test and Demonstration Platform, as well as the Nansha Automobile Import and Export Ro-Ro Terminal in Guangzhou’s Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone, renowned as China's foremost port for exported new energy vehicles in South China. These tours offered an upclose glimpse into the remarkable vitality of China's new energy vehicle industry that undoubtedly has made profound and positive contributions to the international exchange and development of the new energy and intelligent connected automobile industry.
AWC 2023 was also delighted to welcome 146 professional visitor groups boasting a total of 5,682 members who visited the exclusive eVOLT Area, a value-add experience providing a panoramic view of the entire industry chain of automobile design, R&D, and manufacturing via AWC 2023.
AWC 2023 additionally offered its renowned and highly effective TAP matchmaking services that connected professional buyers with exhibitors that aligned specifically with their needs. In total, over 2,000 business meetings were orchestrated, enabling face-to-face talks that offered a truly convenient and efficient business experience to all parties involved.
